Run Away (2016)

Run Away is an original oil painting created in 2016 by Vietnamese artist Nam Hoang Kim of Art By Nam. The artwork portrays three magnificent white horses running together across an open field beneath a dramatic sky. Their powerful movement and shared direction create a sense of purpose, freedom, and determination.

At first glance, the painting captures the beauty and energy of horses in motion. However, Run Away also carries a deeper symbolic meaning. The horses represent the universal desire to seek opportunity, embrace change, and move toward a brighter future. Their forward momentum reflects the courage required to pursue dreams and explore new horizons.

Throughout history, horses have symbolized strength, freedom, endurance, and adventure. In this painting, the white horses embody hope and optimism. Their synchronized movement suggests unity, perseverance, and the belief that progress is possible when one continues moving forward despite uncertainty.

The open landscape and expansive sky reinforce the feeling of possibility. The horses are not confined by barriers or limitations. Instead, they race confidently toward the horizon, representing ambition, personal growth, and the pursuit of a better life.

Created using traditional oil painting techniques, Run Away combines expressive brushwork, subtle textures, and a harmonious color palette. The contrast between the bright horses and the dramatic sky enhances the sense of movement while drawing attention to the strength and beauty of the subjects.
