For many people living in Đà Nẵng, the sea can be that place.

As the afternoon becomes cooler, families come to the beach. Children play near the water. Adults swim, walk, sit together and talk. The sound of the waves replaces the noise of the working day.

For a little while, life becomes simpler.

That everyday feeling inspired Finding Our Peace.

After a Long Day

The painting is not about a grand vacation.

It is about something much closer to everyday life.

A working day can be tiring.

Parents have responsibilities.

Children have school.

Everyone has something occupying their mind.

But when the day begins to slow down, the family can come together again.

In this painting, people gather near the water while others walk along the shore.

There is no formal event.

Nobody needs an invitation.

They are simply spending time together.

And sometimes that is enough.

Mỹ Khê Beach — Where City Life Meets the Sea

Mỹ Khê is closely connected to everyday life in Đà Nẵng. Official tourism information describes the beach as a place where the city’s rhythm naturally extends toward the sea, and late afternoon is especially associated with people coming to swim, exercise and relax. Danang Fantasticity

That relationship between city and sea is important in this painting.

Behind the families rise modern buildings.

In front of them is the ocean.

The city represents work, movement, responsibility and modern life.

The beach offers something different:

Space.

Air.

Water.

Conversation.

Play.

Rest.

Both worlds exist only a short distance apart.

The Family at the Center

The people are an important part of this painting.

They are not posing for a photograph.

They are simply living.

Some sit together near the water.

Others play.

Two figures walk toward the group.

Their presence changes the landscape from a beautiful beach into a human story.

The painting is therefore not simply about Mỹ Khê.

It is about what the beach gives us an opportunity to do:

Spend time with the people who matter.

Fresh Air and Open Space

There is something restorative about leaving buildings and enclosed rooms behind and stepping into an open landscape.

At the beach, the horizon seems to expand.

The wind moves freely.

The waves continue their rhythm.

The sky feels larger.

After hours spent concentrating on work or daily responsibilities, even a short period beside the sea can feel like entering another world.

Yet we have not gone very far.

That is one of the special things about living near the coast.

Peace does not always require a long journey.

Sometimes it is waiting only a few minutes away.

The Warm Afternoon Light

I wanted the beach to feel warm rather than empty.

Gold, cream and ochre spread across the sand while cooler blues remain in the sky and sea.

The light connects the people with the landscape.

It is no longer the harsh light of the middle of the day.

The afternoon is beginning to soften.

Work is ending.

Families are gathering.

The day is changing its rhythm.

The Boats

Small fishing boats rest along the shore.

They connect the recreational beach with another side of coastal life.

The sea is not only a place for relaxation.

For generations, it has also been connected with work and livelihood.

This makes the scene especially meaningful to me.

Work and rest exist beside one another.

The same sea can represent labor in one moment and peace in another.

Finding “Our” Peace

I deliberately chose the title Finding Our Peace, rather than simply Finding Peace.

The word our matters.

Peace does not always have to be experienced alone.

Sometimes peace is sitting quietly by yourself.

But sometimes it is watching your children play.

Walking beside someone you love.

Swimming together.

Talking about nothing important.

Laughing.

Or simply being together without needing to accomplish anything.

This painting is about that shared kind of peace.

Happiness in Ordinary Moments

We often imagine happiness as something we need to achieve in the future.

A better job.

More money.

A larger home.

A vacation somewhere far away.

Those things may bring pleasure, but they are not the only places where happiness exists.

Sometimes happiness is much smaller.

An afternoon breeze.

Bare feet in the sand.

Children playing.

The sound of waves.

A family together after a long day.

These moments may seem ordinary while they are happening.

Later, they may become the memories we treasure most.

Between the City and the Sea

One of my favorite aspects of this composition is the contrast between the urban skyline and the beach.

The buildings remind us that modern life continues only a short distance away.

The sea does not erase that world.

It gives us a place to step away from it temporarily.

Tomorrow, everyone may return to work.

The children may return to school.

Responsibilities will still be there.

But this afternoon belongs to the family.

Peace Does Not Have to Be Far Away

This is perhaps the most important thought behind Finding Our Peace.

We sometimes search very far for the things that restore us.

But peace may already exist within our everyday surroundings.

We only need to make time for it.

For the people in this painting, it is found beside the sea.

Not in luxury.

Not in isolation.

Not somewhere unreachable.

Just an ordinary afternoon at Mỹ Khê Beach.

A Painting About Family

At its heart, Finding Our Peace is also a painting about family.

After all the responsibilities of the day, there is something valuable about coming back together.

No phones are important here.

No deadlines are visible.

Nobody in the painting appears concerned with being productive.

For this moment, simply being together is enough.

Perhaps that is one of the most valuable forms of rest.

Finding Our Peace – Tìm Về Bình Yên là tranh kỹ thuật số của Art By Nam, được gợi cảm hứng từ một buổi chiều bình thường trên bãi biển Mỹ Khê, Đà Nẵng.

Khi buổi chiều trở nên dịu hơn, mọi người bắt đầu ra biển.

Trẻ em vui chơi.

Người lớn tắm biển, đi bộ, ngồi trò chuyện và thư giãn.

Tiếng sóng dần thay thế cho những âm thanh ồn ào của một ngày làm việc.

Trong một khoảng thời gian ngắn, cuộc sống dường như đơn giản hơn.

Đó chính là cảm xúc đã tạo nên Tìm Về Bình Yên.

Sau Một Ngày Bận Rộn

Bức tranh không nói về một chuyến du lịch xa xôi.

Nó nói về cuộc sống thường ngày.

Cha mẹ có công việc.

Con cái có chuyện học hành.

Ai cũng có những điều phải lo nghĩ.

Nhưng khi một ngày dần chậm lại, gia đình lại có thể dành thời gian cho nhau.

Trong tranh, mọi người tụ họp bên mặt nước.

Có người ngồi.

Có người vui chơi.

Có người đang bước về phía gia đình.

Không có sự kiện đặc biệt nào đang diễn ra.

Họ chỉ đơn giản là ở bên nhau.

Và đôi khi, như thế đã đủ.

Điều đó được thể hiện ngay trong bức tranh.

Phía sau là thành phố.

Phía trước là biển.

Một bên là công việc, trách nhiệm và nhịp sống hiện đại.

Một bên là không gian rộng mở, gió biển và những con sóng.

Hai thế giới ở rất gần nhau.

Gia Đình

Con người là một phần rất quan trọng trong bức tranh.

Họ không tạo dáng.

Họ chỉ đang sống một khoảnh khắc bình thường.

Có người ngồi bên nước.

Có người vui chơi.

Hai người đang đi về phía những người còn lại.

Chính sự hiện diện của họ đã biến một bức phong cảnh biển thành câu chuyện về gia đình.

Tìm “Bình Yên Của Chúng Ta”

Tôi chọn tên tiếng Anh Finding Our Peace, chứ không phải chỉ Finding Peace.

Chữ our – của chúng ta rất quan trọng.

Bình yên không nhất thiết chỉ có khi ta ở một mình.

Đôi khi bình yên là nhìn con mình vui chơi.

Là đi bên người mình thương.

Là cùng nhau tắm biển.

Là trò chuyện.

Là cười.

Hoặc đơn giản chỉ là ở bên nhau mà không cần phải làm bất cứ điều gì quan trọng.

Hạnh Phúc Trong Những Điều Bình Thường

Ta thường nghĩ hạnh phúc nằm ở tương lai.

Một công việc tốt hơn.

Nhiều tiền hơn.

Một căn nhà lớn hơn.

Một chuyến đi thật xa.

Nhưng hạnh phúc cũng có thể nằm trong những điều rất nhỏ.

Một buổi chiều mát.

Đôi chân trên cát.

Tiếng trẻ em vui chơi.

Tiếng sóng biển.

Một gia đình ở bên nhau sau một ngày dài.

Những khoảnh khắc ấy có vẻ rất bình thường khi đang diễn ra.

Nhưng sau này, có thể chính chúng lại trở thành những ký ức quý giá nhất.

Giữa Thành Phố Và Biển

Những tòa nhà phía sau nhắc chúng ta rằng nhịp sống hiện đại vẫn đang tiếp tục.

Biển không làm thế giới đó biến mất.

Biển chỉ cho chúng ta một nơi để tạm thời bước ra khỏi nó.

Ngày mai mọi người lại trở về với công việc.

Các em lại đến trường.

Những trách nhiệm vẫn còn đó.

Nhưng buổi chiều hôm nay thuộc về gia đình.

Bình Yên Không Nhất Thiết Ở Một Nơi Xa

Đó có lẽ là suy nghĩ quan trọng nhất của Tìm Về Bình Yên.

Đôi khi chúng ta đi rất xa để tìm một nơi giúp mình thư giãn.

Nhưng bình yên có thể đã nằm ngay trong cuộc sống hằng ngày.

Ta chỉ cần dành thời gian cho nó.

Với những người trong tranh, bình yên nằm bên biển.

Không cần xa hoa.

Không cần một nơi xa xôi.

Chỉ là một buổi chiều bình thường ở Mỹ Khê.

Một Bức Tranh Về Gia Đình

Sau tất cả những bận rộn của một ngày, được trở về bên nhau là một điều đáng quý.

Trong khoảnh khắc này, không có deadline.

Không có áp lực phải làm việc.

Không cần phải đạt được điều gì.

Chỉ cần được ở bên nhau.

Đôi khi đó chính là cách nghỉ ngơi quý giá nhất.
